As paying admission is switched over to free admission, the management is selling garbage bags for the spontaneous generation park in order to promote the visitors to take responsible of their own garbage and to minimize littering in the park.
The Jangyudaechung Valley is a 6km long valley with a site of super scenic beauty formed in forked on hillsides of Bulmo Mountain, constituting waterfalls of clear water and a thick forest. As you walk up along the water of valley for about 30 minutes, there is Jangyuam (Hermitage) where it keeps Saritop (A pagoda preserving relics of the Buddha) of Jangyuhwassang who propagated the law of Buddha first in Korea. The graceful figure of Jangyu Valley and clean water is fine as is but there are many visitors coming to this valley to enjoy soup, cooked with ducks and chickens. The Jangyu Valley is situated 743m above the sea level and is a must visiting place in Gimehae in the mid summer because of the clean water flowing down from a high and step peak called Bulmo Mountain Yongjibong. The fascinating natural scenery will help you forget about all kinds of troubles in life and the hot weather in the summer time, making you feel like as if you are in a paradise of Nirvana.
It was constructed as Jangyu Waterfalls Recreation Park in 1984, there are bridges and a water-supply system. They have a 1,720m forest road and the Sanjul Bridge at the entrance of the valley is 30m high while the Bonpo Bridge is 4m high.
