
Located in the hill behind Gagok Village, Tumuli in Yangdong-ri are the relics of Samhan and Three Kingdoms Period. The total area is about 30,000 pyeong and it is the largest tumili site in Gimhae. The graves are overlapped and closely arranged in a very complicated form. Excavation of the site revealed that they were constructed throughout the Gaya Period. Relics witnessing the excellence of Gaya ironware, various earthenware, bronzeware, and beads were excavated. Especially, many relics evidencing the relationship and trading with other countries were excavated.
