It is located on the halfway up Bonghwasan Mountain, which is behind the birthplace of President, No Mu-hyun. It is estimated that it was made in the Goryeo Period. Its height is 2.48m and knee height is 1.7m. It does not have a halo, but it shows sophisticated beauty with its balanced nose, small mouth, and ears drooping to the shoulder. According to 'The Legends of Korea', a young man appeared in the dream of an empress of Dang Dynasty and tormented her. He was put in the stone by the power of divine monk and made into a stone Buddha in Bonghwasan Mountain. This legend adds interest to this place.
